About Collin

Collin has a diverse background in residential and commercial real estate stemming from his early days in filmmaking, recruiting and internet sales and marketing. He started his residential career at Coldwell Banker Previews in Highland Park, TX. During his first year, he acquired several builder accounts and achieved multi-million dollar producer. He was recruited by Lynda Adleta to market luxury properties and estates for her leading residential real estate boutique. While he enjoyed luxury residential sales with an emphasis on historic renovations, his drive and vision for urban development combined with an entrepreneurial spirit quickly led him to launch out into the commercial field where he engaged as a Managing Broker at Harvard Companies. His expansion and depth of knowledge emerged during these early days with urban core land and larger mixed-use developments such as Carrollton Crossing, which involved redesigning the city center around Dallas’ rapid transit development system (DART). Involvement with the Urban Land Institute (ULI) led to his current passion for sustainable housing and practical live/work spaces, projects that focus today on bringing new community developments that thrive in natural environments.

During the last recession years, he opened his first boutique brokerage, Anchorage Real Estate, on Whidbey Island, in Washington state with a small team of top producers creating a unique residential and commercial firm model with an active web and social media component.

He has served on the boards of the Turtle Creek Chorale, Youth First Texas, the Island County Historical Society, Historic Whidbey, and was co-chair of the board of the Whidbey Giving Circle. He was a Charter Member of the Rotary Club of Whidbey Westside and served as the 2012-2013 Rotary District 5050 INTERACT Chair committed to fostering youth and teen leadership. Collin has also served as a CASA court appointed advocate for neglected children in the state of Texas.
